Rihanna obviously stole the show once again in a 3D design gown, which featured a variety of colours and multiple layers. It was a piece from Comme des Garçons 2016 Fall ready-to-wear collection. She was one of the few celebrities who paid homage to the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons theme.

Taking over the red carpet are young stars Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kendal Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, showing off their amazing body’s wearing prestige designer pieces. It’s not like we needed it, but here’s another example of why they are on every designer’s list.

The one person we were most certainly missing this year is Sarah Jessica Parker. The Sex and the City superstar who made New York City fashion in the late 90’s, had not missed a Met Ball since 2010. SJP is famous for always perfectly honoring the exhibit. We have no doubt she would have done something memorable with this year’s theme.
