The well-established luxury-commerce platform Farfetch has just announced its newly appointed VP of Style and Creative, Yasmin Sewell. Such unprecedented role will focus on the stylistic and creative direction of the editorial team that deals with the website’s contents on a global scale.
Directly from the Condé Nast family, Sewell appeared to be the perfect match to this position and her vast experience will certainly benefit the company, as suggested by her future supervisor John Veichmanis, Chief Marketing Officer.
On behalf of Farfetch, he also stated that “Building on our recent content and commerce partnership with Condé Nast, we want to develop new and inventive creative formats that help our customers discover more of the wonderful product available at Farfetch. As a matter of fact, after last month’s announcement of a partnership between Farfetch and Condé Nast, there is little surprise in the appointing of Sewell, being the now-former fashion director of Condé Nast after its detachment from style.com.
